 Kingfisher Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) are designed and manufactured by RTUnet (founded in 1987).
The philosophy behind the Kingfisher RTU design is delivery of a product to the world market that is extremely configurable and expandable, thus ensuring that our customers have an exact solution to their immediate remote monitoring and control requirements that could also grow with changing needs. RTUnet has successfully turned this concept into an affordable product in the form of the Kingfisher range of RTUs.
Our range of RTUs are designed with our customers' immediate as well as future needs in mind. Kingfisher RTUs use powerful processors that communicate with a wide range of monitoring, control and communications equipment. The modular design gives customers total flexibility to combine various components to build an RTU system solution. This means that you can install an RTU with the right number of I/O and comms ports to suit your immediate needs - resulting in significant savings.
If those requirements should change in the future, the modular design of the Kingfisher RTUs allow for an easy and inexpensive upgrade path. Simply add extra modules to the system to extend its capacity and enhance its capabilities.
